Travelling by car
Coming via the A1 from the South or
North

Leave the motorway at Junction 62 (Sunderland / Durham)

Turn right into the A690
in direction towards Sunderland

Follow A690
(You will pass Houghton-le-Spring)

After 6 miles turn left onto the A19

Leave the A19 at Junction Sunderland North

Turn onto the A1231
eastwards and follow signs "National Glass Centre / Stadium of Light"

At the Stadium of Light follow
signs to "National Glass Centre" in direction of Roker (A183)

Follow
the A183 after the National Glass Centre until you see the seafront in front
of you.

the first road on the left, which is St. George's Terrace.
